Biography: Albert Joseph Gornatti, Jr. ?Joe? parted this world Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the age of 46. Joe was born January 28, 1970 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He attended Little Rock Central High School, and graduated the class of 1989. He later graduated from University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a finance degree. Joe is predeceased by his father, Albert Joseph Gornatti. Joe is survived by his two children, Sarah Marie Gornatti and Louis Gornatti, his mother, Ann Gornatti and two sisters, Lisa Gornatti and Maria Gornatti, his nieces and nephews, and many family and friends. Joe?s love for life and gift of laughter was infectious to all that knew him. He had many loves but nothing as great as his love for his two children Sarah Marie and Louis. The joy they brought to his life was boundless. Joe is remembered as an amazing and loving father, devoted friend and courageous soul. All that knew him loved him immensely. He was a true gift to this world. Many will miss him. Fortunately, he left us all with an abundance of warmth and a lifetime of laughter. For that, we are all thankful. The funeral services will be held at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn Drive on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. Reception following. Memorial donations may be made to Joe Gornatti Scholarship Trust, 15 Summerdale Lane, Little Rock, AR 72223.

Dear Gornatti girls,
I'm sure being the youngest with two older sisters Joe was greatly adored. I know your hearts are broken and that you miss him so! I hope your sweet memories of him will sustain you and that you take comfort in knowing so many loved him and both of you.
God bless,
Monique

I met Joe years ago when he, Bill Woodward and Walker Bass cut across my yard on Beechwood where Mary Atkins and I were jumping on my trampoline. Walker said "this is my friend Joe", and shortly after exchanged greetings Joe was our friend too.
Joe's quick clever wit, good heart, and his unpretentious genuine character are irreplaceable. I feel beyond blessed for our friendship and the many memories we shared.
He will be missed.
My deepest condolences to his family.

Lisa and Maria,
Joe was a dear friend and colleague of mine for years in the tech space. His death leaves quite a void cause his personality was awesome and skill and work ethic were as great.
Joe and I really had a lot in common and I will miss him dearly.
May God continue to love you and comfort your family and look over his awesome children who he loved so much.
I am here for you always.

I was so sad to hear about Joe's passing. It's still a shock and saddens me so. Joe and me shared some great stories. Especially regarding his life on the farm! I hope he can finally experience some peace. My heart goes out to Maria, Lisa and Mrs. Gornatti. Please call on me if there is ever anything I can do.
Blessings,
Pam
