Although I did not know Jane well, I do consider her daughter, Leslie, as one of my dearest friends and one of the kindest, most caring, and sensitive individuals I've ever known. As her legacy to this world, Jane raised a wonderful daughter.
Dear Les, I know you have struggled with caring for your Mother the last few years of her life when she came to Austin to be near her children. Your tremendous caring heart helped her live these final times in dignity and grace. May you find some comfort knowing she is no longer suffering. My prayers and thoughts are with you always.
Your friend, Linda, or as you say "Linny"

I was saddened to see your mother has passed away for your sake, but take joy in knowing that she is now in heaven with all her family that have gone before her. She loved you all dearly and we prayed together for you many times during the difficult times you and she endured. Jane was a true friend to me at a time when others had abandoned me. She encouraged me and prayed with me and lifted my spirits when I wanted to give up. She made a vow with her beloved saviour to be a victim soul, her pain and suffering to be joined with his, to be used for the glory of God. Know that she loved you and was a true witness of the love of Jesus and Mary. She belived in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit and moved in signs and wonders. She travailed in sobs she could not contain at the wailing wall in Jerusalem and was very humbled by God's presence there. I pray her mantle be passed on to you her children. God Bless You!
