Biography: Albert A. Stephens, age 76, of Little Rock, passed away May 7, 2006. Born in Roosevelt, Arkansas on October 20, 1929 to the late Lonnie and Lela (Robertson) Stephens, he was employed by Meyer’s Bakery for 23 years, Ideal Bakery for 12 years, then was self-employed for 10 years. Mr. Stephens was a 32nd degree Mason and a Post Master of Western Star Lodge #2. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Dene Stephens, and one sister, Hazel Rice. Burial of ashes will be private at Mr. Stephens’ request. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
