During the time I lived in Little Rock, Jill was one of my best friends. I will never forget the oh, so great dinner parties that Jill and Bill hosted in their home. And, the fun Jill and I had working together at Heifer International. I felt so privileged to count myself as one of her friends. Jill, you will be missed. Love you Jill.

I am very sorry, friends. When I told my teenage daughters that Jill had died, they knew who I was talking about because over the years I have told them stories of that first year at Hendrix when Jill and I were roommates. I haven't talked to Jill in four years but since hearing of her death, I have really been missing her and thinking fondly of the days with Jill at Hendrix and at Arkadelphia High too. The last time we talked she was working on a funny and beautifully written memoir. I read only one section of it and now wish I had asked to read the full manuscript when it was done. If the memorial service at St. Lukes is open to friends, I would love to try to come back up to Arkansas for it. Blessings to family and friends as you grieve. Peace, Beka (Rebekah Miles)

Janet, my heart goes out to you and Jill's family and friends. Jill was always so nice and sincere. I still appreciate the things she did for me while she was a student leader at Arkadelphia High School.

I met Jill at Heifer International. She was a sweet person from the beginning and if there was another side of her, I never saw it. She was a fast friend from the beginning. Very sad for her passing.

Mother called me today about Jill. We are all shocked. Can't remember when I have seen any of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you over your loss. You all are still in our thoughts and "stories" of our younger days. May God be with you through this loss and in your days to come.

My thoughts are with Jill's sisters and the rest of her family. I always remember Jill's bright smile. So much like Mary Beth, who was a second mom to me.
