Joan was a very special person in the Wilf family. She was always so kind and gracious to everyone and could put even the meekest at ease.
Avinell (Burress/Wheeler) and I are very sorry we cannot be with you at this time. We had planned to come to the services, but I am ill so I cannot drive and bring us.
To Pam, Kathy, Dora Dean, Sarah (and other relatives/friends): We were looking forward to seeing you again. It seems we only meet at funerals anymore. My best to all of you. God bless you and give you comfort at this stressful time.
With love to you all, your cousin, Ina Ruth (Burress) Reed.

Joan and I graduated from ASTC at the same time. She was always such a special person. Wish we could have spent more time together. We did have some nice lunch visits. I will miss her.

I knew Joan through the Arkansas Glasshoppers Depression Glass Club and always thought she was a wonderful lady. She was always there to help with the club and our show and she will be so missed! On a personal level, when I had some health issues, she took the time and trouble to talk to me about them, having sympathy because of her own health issues. I so appreciated her input; she helped me so much during that time. Bless her and bless her family.
