It's been a while now since Dr Fienberg's been gone and I still miss him so much! When work gets me down I say to myself and sometimes to someone there with me," Dr Fienberg, I miss your smiling wonderful self". He will always be missed, especially at UAMS. I know all our days are numbered here on earth; but it just seemed unfair that his number ran out so soon, that's all. Hope the family is doing well.

My deepest felt condolences to Cindy, Neil, Pete, Dola, Lissa and all of Tom?s family and friends.
The last time I saw my cousin Cindy was in 1973. She doesn?t remember. In 2003 both my father and her father passed away. We have been in regular contact since that time. Through our conversations I have come to know Tom, even though I?ve never met him in person. I know that he had a good sense of humor and was active in the lives of his two sons and his wife. I feel that I have lost a close family member.

Best wishes to all as you go through this difficult time.

Dr. Feinberg was a humble and patient personality at UAMS. He was one of the good guys, in so many ways. The way he carried himself, his walk, and his laugh, were all distinctive. He will be missed!

My deepest sympathy. I met Tom in 1995 as the Ohmeda - now GE Healthcare anesthesia sales rep. He helped me to understand a great many things about his practice and was a real pleasure to work alongside. He and I shared a passion for trout fishing. He was very kind and humble, and always had a smile on his face. He will be dearly missed.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to Dr Fienberg's family and friends. He trained me at UAMS and as others have commented I feel honored to have learn d not only his medical and clinical knowledge but also his amazing bedside manner. I actually have taken his sweet comments that he said to patients as they went to sleep and have continued with my own version. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Very very sad and shocked for our loss, Tom was such an elegant colleague and friend. I knew Tom since 2007, he was always nice, helpful, he will run for anyone who need help, he will always give you a sincere advice. for 8 years never heard a bad comment about somebody or something from him, he was always smiley with a very distinctive laugh and smile on his face. I will always remember Tom, he will be always in our heart and our preyer.

Words may not suffice to express the sorrow that I feel for the passing of Dr.Feinberg. He was the first attending I worked with as a CA1 resident. He was one of the best teachers I have ever known and continued to stay as my favorite throughout my residency. His soft, soothing voice while his patients were falling off to sleep still rings in my ears. I choose the same words when putting my patients to sleep and thats just a small example of how much his residents respect and admired him and what a huge loss it is, not only for his family but for his other family at UAMS! My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family during this difficult time. He will always be missed!

I am so shocked and sorry for your loss. I was a surgery resident that worked with Dr. Feinberg often. He is truly a role model and the ideal to which we younger physicians should measure ourselves. He is a mentor and a great physician. His legacy will live on past his time here.

Dr Feinberg on one of my all time favorite people. I worked with him for 5 years at UAMS. I truly loved working with him he taught me so much not just for my work but also in my life. He always made me smile. No matter how bad of a day I had he made me feel better with his smile and beautiful personality. One of my best memories of his is from several months ago I came back to work after a long maturity leave and he came up to me and gave me the biggest hug and smile and said he was glad that I was back and how he missed me. It made that first day so much better. I'm thankful that I made the pressure to meet him and work with him. My deepest sympathies with your family at this time. He will never be forgotten.

People always leave, but only a few leave a good legacy behind . He was one of those, an excellent mentor , a skilled physician , and above all , a great perosnality. I always remeber him smiling or laughing when he is talking to others. He has been always proud of his visits to Liberia ans what he does over there. He sets an example for the younger physcians to follow. My sincerest condolances to his family.

Dr. Feinburg will be missed by so many. I had the pleasure of working with him in the OR at UAMS. He was always so pleasant and carried a smile. Staff and patients were always at ease when they knew he had part in the procedure. He would always speak positive things to the patients as they were drifting off to sleep. This is something I will always remember. Many prayers for the family and friends of this man through this difficult time and transition.

I am saddened to hear of the loss of Dr. Feinburg. I feel very fortunate to have learned from him. His words resonate in my mind regularly as I evaluate patients and perform certain procedures. Just yesterday, a colleague asked me what I would do in a particular situation. I shared a technique with this colleague that I learned directly from Dr. Feinburg. He made me a better a better anesthesiologist. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of grief.

I was so sad to hear about Dr. Feinberg's passing. He was such an incredibly sweet and gentle man. As a nurse anesthetist, I had the pleasure of working with him after I graduated in 2006. I think about him everyday and the soothing words he used while inducing his patients to sleep as I'm delivering anesthesia to my own patients. It's a huge loss to our anesthesia community where he left such a deep and positive impression.

Dr. Feinberg came to UAMS when I was a first year resident in anesthesiology. He was one of the best teachers I have ever known. He was a happy person and that translated to how he was to work with in the OR. Dr. Feinberg was one of the best anesthesiologists I have ever worked with and he put his patients at ease knowing they were under his care. I will miss working with him and asking for his opinion and hearing stories from residents telling me that as his patients were falling off to sleep he would say kind, caring things in their ear (and knowing Tom he meant them!!). Thank you for everything Tom !! You would tell patients to dream of going to their happy place - now you are there in your happy place. Many thoughts and prayers for the Feingberg family.
