Biography: Jeffie ?Eris? Faulkner, 92, passed away January 8, 2016. She was born April 15, 1923, in Tupelo, MS. Her parents were Jeffie and William E. Walker. Her father died at an early age and the family carried on working hard on the farm and caring for each other. They survived the Tupelo tornado (in 1936) despite their home being destroyed. She married E. B. Faulkner and moved to Wynne, AR and raised two daughters. She was a lifelong Southern Baptist and they were members of Wynne Baptist and Union Baptist. They moved to Pine Bluff and continued to raise their family and were members of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a full-time wife, mother, and grandmother and was always available to her family every time. Her constant devotion to her grandchildren caused everyone, even friends and neighbors, to refer to her as ?Memaw.? She loved her coffee, newspaper, crossword puzzles, reading books, and the AR Razorbacks. She had a sweet tooth and dessert was required with her meals. She loved her family, neighbors, and friends. Her love for her family was relentless. They were constantly in her thoughts and prayers. Her loving and comforting spirit will always be a place of refuge in our hearts. Thank you Memaw. She was preceded in death by 7 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her 2 daughters: Sharon Pierce and Sylvia Faulkner. Other survivors include her sister Mabel W. Harper, 5 grandchildren: Cynthia, Jennifer, Andrea, Jud, Drew and 7 great grandchildren: Seth, Hunter, Morgan, Michael, Kelcey, Sylver, and Jackson.
