Emma and my daughter, Payton Bailey, are friends that go back to third grade.

Dearest Emma,
When I met your mom, I immediately noticed her beautiful and sweet spirit. She shared with me that you are very creative and artistic...because that's what proud mothers do :) She told me how you would take household scraps and create beautiful art. That's a gift that you must continue to give, not only to those around you but to yourself.
Please know that you are not alone during this time. As Payton will tell you, losing a parent as a young person is a difficult thing. But not one that you have to go through by yourself. Since I've know you sweet Emma, you've always been in my thoughts and prayers. And there you will stay.

Much Love,
Ms. Terri

My heart breaks for Dr. Rudnicki, Emma and Cooper...and of course, all those who were close to Wendy. Stacy told me the absolute hardest part about her move to California last month was leaving behind Wendy and her precious babies. I know this is going to be tough, so please know that you are all in my heart and I'll be praying for great strength to get you all through this very this difficult time.

I was sweet Emma's third grade teacher. Emma, you are beautiful like your mom. I know her kindness and beauty will live on in you. She was so very proud of you. You will never forget the many things that she has taught you. I am praying for you to have peace and comfort during this time. Your mom would want you to be happy and to live life to its fullest every day. I know this is true because she lived her life that way as an example for you. I love you always,

Mrs. Riley

Wendy was my dear friend, I loved her so much! She was a like a beautiful bright shining star, her smile and laugh would light up the darkest of days! Her absolute pride and joy were her children, Emma and Cooper, she would always share her stories of them! Fantastic mother with so much love. I will forever cherish the gift of having her in my life. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your beautiful face, the rain fall softly upon your fields and until we meet again, my friend. May God hold you in the palm of his hand! Prayers going out to all her family and friends.
