Biography: Betty Jo Gathright, age 91, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born March 12, 1924 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Horace Tipton and Mary Finley Tipton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Perry ?Pedie? Daniel Gathright. Betty was a wildlife advocate and supported many animal and non-profit organizations with her charitable donations. She was a very compassionate woman. She was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Jody Gathright and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Stephanie Lea and Jordan Daniel Gathright; nephew, John Gathright; niece, Lori Kurtz as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, November 16, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society.
