Ann and I were sorry to learn of Sis"s death. Seems we are never really prepared for the loss of a parent no matter the age, health or circumstance. Sis was trulya great person and will be missed by so many people whose lives she touched.

Sis and her soulmate, my cousin Guy, always were very special to my mother, Nola Fay Beard Dean, up until Mom's 1983 death. Regina and I well recall meeting Sis at Aunt Bernice's 'B' Street home en route to 1980s Razorback games at nearby War Memorial Stadium. And at glad reunions held at our Aunt Goldie Beard's. We later enjoyed swapping Christmas cards while she resided at Presbyterian Village. We'll miss her vivacity and easy sense of humor. Our thoughts are with the entire Beard family as we grieve her loss.

I am thinking about all of you and there in spirit. I am glad I got some time with Aunt Virginia when I was back in Arkansas.
