Biography: Born in Harrison, Arkansas, to Edward James Snow and Lillian Sue Miller Snow, on March 29, 1935, Kenneth Mitchell Snow died September 15, 2015 in Little Rock. He was a graduate of El Dorado High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas State Teachers College (now the University of Central Arkansas) where he was a member of the baseball team and Phi Sigma Epsilon fraternity. Before retiring in July 1997, he was a Loan Officer with the Small Business Administration in Little Rock. He spent 36 years in the federal service. He was most grateful to the AT&T Pioneers who for twelve years allowed him to help in building wheel chair ramps. He had also enjoyed serving as a volunteer for LifeQuest of Arkansas. He was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he had served as church treasurer and member of the administrative board. He is survived by his wife, Nan Snow. They were married 56 years. Together, they enjoyed many memorable times traveling throughout his life. He is also survived by Dorothy D. Stuck, a dear friend and their traveling companion. It was his wish that there be no service. His ashes will be interred in Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison. It is requested that memorial gifts be made to The University of Central Arkansas Foundation, Buffalo Alumni Hall, UCA Box 4986, Conway, Arkansas 72035. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

Nan,
I'm sure you know Ken was a special favorite of mine and held a big place in my heart. He always had a smile on his face and was kind and generous. He somehow even always made time for his silly little cousin asking him thousands of questions about his travels and anything else I could think of. And he handled it with his typical quiet dignity. Those fond memories of Thanksgiving dinners and holiday gatherings will always be treasured. I am so glad I had the chance to see him one last time last year at Oaklawn. He was his usual sweet self and ever the gentleman. I will miss him dearly.

Ken was truly a "gentleman's gentleman". He will be greatly missed by the ramp crew with his smiling face and his willingness to do the work.
Rest in peace, faithful servant.
