Biography: Douglas ?Trey? Terry, age 45 of Little Rock was loved by all who even encountered but a spark of his blazing personality. The binding chains of Cystic Fibrosis proved not a battle that he fought and lost, but a daily victory that crowned his presence; a burden rendered powerless when compared to his ability to truly live and love fiercely in each moment. He was born January 4th, 1970 in Jackson, MS. He graduated from Washington School in Greenville, MS and received a Bachelor?s Degree from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He was employed over 20 years at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in varying capacities. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Terry, his grandparents, Henry L. and Gwendolyn Terry, Julian E. Maples, Sr., Wilson L. Turner, his cousin Lewis Terry, and his dear friend, Marcus Piggee. He is survived by his wife, Daphne Terry, their children, Tori Slaughter (Cameron) and Coby Harris, grandmother, Frances ?Reecie? Turner, mother, Kaye Terry, brothers, Dixon Terry (Tracey, Jake), Tony Terry (Heather, T.J., Emily and Stella), Matt Terry (Katie, Parker, Riley, Kennedy), numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, other extended family and dear friends. A special thank you to the many special friends who have supported our family during this difficult time. His smile, his hugs, his laughter are a divine gift within the memories of family and friends who are invited to honor and celebrate his life Thursday, August 13th, 2015 at St. Mark?s Episcopal Church, 1000 Mississippi Ave. at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow.
