Here are some of my special memories of Aunt Myra. I remember sitting at my Mom?s dining room table with the four sisters, Myra, Dell, Neva, and Ruth. They had a cut up raw onion in the middle of the table and were eating pieces while they chatted like some folks would eat popcorn. We played scrabble at that dining room table. Aunt Myra sat and talked and played with the rest of us while she was hand piecing a crazy quilt of velvet and joining the pieces with a seeming endless variety of beautiful embroidery stitches. Later, Don and I took Mom for a visit to Arkansas and we were at Aunt Myra?s table in her sparkling house. I will never forget all of the wonderful albums of carefully labeled photos. That reminded me of the family cookbook, complete with family stories Aunt Myra put together with the input she gathered from some of her sisters. Don?s favorite recipe from Aunt Myra was the one she made while we were at her home. White Chili Beans with white beans and green chilies. Of course, I have that recipe and I still make it and think of Aunt Myra! I miss swapping emails with you, Aunt Myra and I miss you!

Kathy and Kristen,
I was sorry to read about your Mother's passing and my sincere sympathy to you both. She was a wonderful lady. I no longer live in Little Rock but have fond memories of Myra and John...our Treasure Hill neighbors. You girls were great babysitters to have close by. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

The music in Heaven will be a little sweeter with Aunt Myra there playing the piano. I loved her and will miss her.
