Biography: Myra Byassee DeGinther of Little Rock passed away Friday July 10, 2015. She was born March 27, 1926 to J.E. and Mattie Agee Byassee in Maury City, Tennessee and grew up in Deering, Missouri where she graduated from high school. She was preceded in death by her husband John Koch DeGinther, infant son John William DeGinther and 13 siblings. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy DeGinther of Little Rock, and Kristen (Winston) Taylor of Russellville, one granddaughter Megan (Andy) Beard of Little Rock, and many nieces and nephews. Myra was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, since 1953 where she was active in the United Methodist Women, the Caring Committee and the United Sunday School Class where she loved to play the piano. A visitation will be at Ruebel Funeral Home on Sunday July 12 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The graveside service will be Monday, July 13 at 10 a.m. in Carlisle Cemetery, Carlisle, Arkansas, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church 2223 Durwood Road, Little Rock, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church. The family would like to express appreciation to the staff of Nursing and Rehab at Good Shepherd. Myra was a very loving and generous mother and grandmother. Her beautiful spirit will be missed by her family and friends.
