Pamela,

We just became aware of Peter's passing and would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your children.

Peter was truly special. He was a "Difference Maker", always encouraging those around him. He was a gentile giant, soft spoken but a powerful communicator. He made us all better people.

Love,
Lynn & Dana

I am very sorry for your loss. I just wanted to say that Mr. Noonan was responsible for getting our outdoor basketball lined and painted at Forest Heights Middle School. St. Vincent was a partner in education for Forest Heights. I personally liked his spirit and patience. I am going to miss my conversations with him. I was a teacher at Forest Heights and coached football and track and field. I particularly will miss our conversations about Notre Dame football. He really liked the Irish!!!! God Bless Peter Noonan!!! Troy Green

Dear Family, Even though we've never met, I want to share with you my recent experience with St. Vincent Hospital,Little Rock, and with Ruebel Funeral Home. I pray that it will be comforting to you.

My beloved husband Silas Neil Teeter passed away at St. V Hospital last Thurs. 6-25-15. The MICU and it's dedicated and kind team of medical professionals gave every once of their energy to save Neil, but it was his time to leave us. I feel Mr. Noonan must have contributed greatly to making St. Vincent such an amazing place. Both Neil & I have been patients there many times in our lives, and we were never disappointed.

Monday, 6-29-15, Neil's memorial service was held at Ruebel's. Again, I have the deepest love and appreciation for their staff.

With sincerest respect,
Linda Teeter

Peter was a wonderful man; he personified our work core values of reverence, integrity, compassion and excellence. He was a joy to be around and always had a kind word for everyone. He was courageous in his battle with cancer and kept a smile on his face even then. God bless your family and prayers for peace as you grieve.

My heartfelt sympathy goes to you, Pam and your family. It was a privilege to work with Peter. His compassion for others was such a part of his legacy. I know he loved helping our community through CHI St Vincent East Clinic, as well as his volunteer work with students. I treasure my memories of him. He made a wonderful difference in so many lives. Pam, Matthew, Greg and Family: I only recently learned of the return of Peter's illness. He had made such wonderful progress so I was shocked to learn of his relapse and passing. Peter was devoted to his country , his family, his Catholic faith and Notre Dame.God, Country, Notre Dame! The Notre Dame Club of Arkansas mourns our loss but celebrates Heaven's gain. May the Road rise to meet him ... and until we meet again may God hold Peter in the Palm of His Hand. Our prayers are with you! Mr. Noonan was a joy to work for and with. He listened, guided and encourage me in so many ways. I will miss him. Earth is a little more quiet today without his gentle voice, and yet, heaven rejoices.

My heart grieves with you in the passing of Peter. I so admired his example of integrity and compassion. In his cancer journey, he inspired others with his courage under sometimes extreme circumstances. His influence will always be a part of my personal ministry and my heart. God bless you all.

Pam, Matt and Greg,
It was with sadness that I learned of Peter's illness barely two weeks ago. Pam, I appreciate having been able to talk with you by phone at the time. It was a joy knowing your family in South Bend, working with Peter at Holy Cross and being neighbors just down the street from one another. I recall the wonderful evening we all had in Little Rock just a few years ago. Kindness is what I remember most about Peter ... and a wonderful love for the Lord. May Our Lord reach out to comfort your hearts at this time, and may His Eternal Light shine on Peter. God bless you. Carolyn sends her prayers, too. -Dave
