He was my 7th and 8th grade band director at Eliza Miller Junior High. I have thought of him over the years and wondered where and what he was doing...wondered if he was somewhere breaking his baton while trying to get the kids on the right count. I will never forget how he use to ball a piece of paper up and put it in his pocket. He said it was to help him remember things. Wish we could've had a reunion with him. Alas, we will.

My whole family loved Neil. He was an important part of my life, in particular. Neil had one of the best personalities and greatest senses of humor of anyone I've ever known. My sympathies to you during this sorrowful time.

I have thought of Mr. Teeter so often over the past 45+ years. I was that talkative, majorette, bell lyre player in the Fuller High School band. I will always remember his first year as the band conductor at Fuller. It gives me such good memories ---such as the beautiful fall day that the band and drill team went to Conway for the county fair parade. We were the only ones to show up because we were a day too early!! We went back the next day, which was a dreary, rainy day!! To the family, I will pray for you all.

What fond memories of Mr. Teeter. Many good laughs in that old band building in Jr High school. How he lived music and taught us to do the same, he made such an impact on me.
Your family is in my prayers.

I was so shocked to hear of Mr. Teeter's death this morning. He showed me how to make music...not just play the notes. I have very fond memories of him in the temporary building at Cloverdale Jr. High. Chicago had just come out with their hit album and he was so psyched that there was a trombone soloing on a pop hit album! Another memory is while we were learning a new piece we often tapped our foot too hard on the old wood floor and he would warn us not to do so "or the termites will quite holding hands and the whole building will collapse". Even got to practice some with his band the Brass Button in Malvern. The world is a little less cool today with his passing.
So Sorry for your Loss.

My dear friend Linda, I want to express my condolences to you and to the family and friends of both you and your dear husband, Neal. I believe mourning is something we will all do for someone because of ancestry or life offered opportunity.
I didn't have an opportunity to get to know your husband, Neal. But, I met you by one of life's golden opportunities.
Therefore, my dear friend, I join you, your family and friends in feeling sadness and loss. I touch palms for Neal and reserve a warm embrace for you. NMRK<3 Stella
