Biography: Marjorie Sharp Remmel, 88, of Little Rock passed away on April 28, 2015. Born on September 24, 1926 she became the youngest of six children to Robert Leon Sharp and Marie Wright Sharp. Marjorie was a 1944 graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy and a member of Holy Souls Catholic Church. As a life-long dedicated wife and mother, she raised five children in a loving home. She took great pride in her family and, much to their chagrin, never missed an opportunity to boast about her children and grandchildren. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Remmel Jr.; and her siblings, Marie Sharp, Robert Sharp, Warner Sharp, Catherine Sharp Wortsmith, Marshall Sharp. She is survived by her children, Marie Remmel Sims, Margaret Remmel Drangle, Laura Lee Remmel, Kathleen Remmel, Paul Remmel III; grandchildren, Christopher Drangle, Stephanie Drangle; and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at The Manor Assisted Living and Briarwood Nursing & Rehab Center for their loving care and devotion. A visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com

Marie, Margaret, Laura, Katie, and Paul,
Your mom was a beautiful person inside and out, and oh my gosh was she ever so proud of each of you! I'll forever cherish the sweet memories I have of her and the lessons her life taught me...such as keeping an attitude of gratitude no matter what the circumstances, the importance of family, living a life of service to others, and the rare gift of a quiet and gentle spirit. She was a treasure and I love how well you loved her.

We wanted to share our condolences with Marjorie?s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.
