I met Howard when he came in to buy a lift chair from FFO for Maryhal. She was in rehab at Springhill and was coming home soon. He was looking for someone to help Maryhal during the day while he worked. I contacted my parents' caregiver to see if she was available. She wasn't, so I decided to be her "personal assistant" until she didn't need me anymore. We went everywhere together, and I had so much fun with her. She kept me entertained with all her stories. I especially enjoyed her going through her many years of photo albums. We would talk and talk until The Young and the Restless came on or Jepardy. Then it was time for me to shut up. I fell in love with Miss Mary, as I referred to her, and her puppy dogs, DJ and Lilly. I will miss her terribly and disappointed that I won't see her again until I'm in Heaven. I'm excited that she's met my son, Erik. I talked about him so much that I'm sure when she met him, she said,"Hey Erik, your mom has told me so much about you. I know she told him how much I miss him.
Howard, I'm so sorry for your loss and know you will miss her terribly. I'll keep in touch. God bless .

Howard and family,

WOW what a shock to me it was just a few weeks ago we met at Wal-Mart talking about cows and catching coons our of my feed, when Maryhal rolled up and joined right in as we both expected. I have always enjoyed her when I worked in the Department, at FSP, and now AdEd. I know you are heartbroken, but know she is not in any pain. All of us will miss her smile and hug. Call and we can go get a bite to eat, talk about cows, or farm equipment. Jim & Carolyn Smith

Howard,

I was so sorry to learn of Maryhal's passing. You and she were two of the people I missed visiting with most after my retirement from the airport. May the Lord bless and look over you.

Howard, I was so sorry to learn that Maryhal had
passed away. She and I had many good conversations and it talked to her not too long ago and she
sounded good. I wish I could come to the service but have a treatment at the Diagnostic Clinic that afternoon. Just know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you in the days ahead. She was a special lady.
