Biography: Eleanor Norwood Ford, age 89, of Little Rock passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015. She was born October 4, 1925 in Coral Gables, Florida to the late Noel Norwood and Pauline Guthrie Norwood. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fraser Ford. Eleanor volunteered at St. Vincent Infirmary and with Life Quest (formerly the Shepherd Center). She was also a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Ford Tisdale, Carol Ford Wilcox and Catherine Ford Saunders; a son, Robert Fraser Ford, Jr.; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Norwood and a sister-in-law, Marie Fraser Zeun. A graveside service will be held at Mount Holly Cemetery on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Russell Snapp and Rev. Lisa Fry. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Arkansas Hospice, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral or a favorite charity. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.
