Our beloved Jean, or "grandma Jean" --like my son used to call her, was a wonderful and very special person to us The friendship and love that she shared with us was something amazing and we will miss her forever. For almost 20 years she was more than a friend; she was like a mother to my husband and I, and like a grandmother to my only son. Not having any relatives in the United States, she filled that gap, not making me miss anything, her love was that BIG. When I felt lonely or needed someone to talk to, she was always there and the wonderful thing about Jean, is that she had love to give to everybody that knew her. Jean was the first and only person we took with us to the icu unit when my son was born prematurely. She provided the wisdom and comfort that my husband and I needed at our most scary and vulnerable times. As the years went by, my son developed that love for her and just adored "his grandma Jean." We will miss the West Virginia feast and all the meals we shared. We are grateful to God that we were able to see her right before her passing, and were able to share so many memories that were still fresh in her mind. I am certain that God has gained a new angel that will continue to love us and watch over us just like when she was here on earth. Thank you Bob Morgan and your family for allowing us to share your wonderful mom with us! We were blessed to have her in our lives for all these years. Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with all of you today and always. And thanks to Jean, we are bounded in love and friendship.

To know Emma Jean was to love her. She had a very caring and sensitive heart. Emma Jean always greeted with a smile, and shared many, many wonderful stories. Sincerest, heartfelt condolences to Bob, Vicky, and the family.

She had a welcoming smile that greeted us many an afternoon, as she entered our office. Sweet and happy, she always shared a good joke. She will be missed!

Jean was a gracious and caring person. She was an important "face" of the Institute for Economic Advancement at UALR, where her professionalism and warm greeted IEA's staff and visitors. I am very glad I had the opportunity to get to know and work with her.

Jean was the receptionist for the Institute for Economic Advancement at UALR when I joined the staff. She added sincerity, respect, a deep since of propriety and dignity to all aspects of her job. She represented us to the world when they called our offices. and she represented us very well. She was warm and welcoming. She made everyone feel like family. I feel her loss and am saddened by her passing.

She was a good friend to my mother and to me. I will miss our long talks and laughter. When I go for a walk in Morris Park, Fairmont WV I will think of Emma Jean. I believe Bob proposed to her in that park. You will be missed my friend.

Jean was a wonderful lady with amazing stories and a heart like none other. She made everyone feel like family because to her everyone was family. Jean was accepting of all situations and everything I know about Jean she found the good in all that life dealt her and all situations she found herself in. Jean will be missed but the memories she shared with me, the memories she and I made will never be forgotten. To the family, I can?t imagine the loss you must be feeling but I know the love she had for each of you was greater than you can imagine and will be the feeling each of you will have long after the pain of her loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
