Biography: Jane Adams Farabee of Little Rock, was born April 3, 1922 in Helena Arkansas, and passed away February 13, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Skipwith Winfield Adams and Lottie Fones Reaves Adams, both of whom preceded her in death. Jane lived in Helena from 1922 through 1932 before moving to Little Rock. Jane was employed as a loan officer by Pulaski Federal Savings and Loan and by Savers Federal Savings and Loan. Her greatest interest was her family, particularly with lively card games with her daughter Kay and her brother Reaves. She was also an avid dancer in her younger years and an avid tennis fan in her later years. Jane is survived by her granddaughter Ashley Michelle Galloway, her great-granddaughter Brenna Galloway, both of Little Rock, and her niece Jane Adams of Austin, Texas. She is predeceased by her parents, her daughter Kay Farabee Rash, her brothers Skipwith Winfield Adams, Jr. and Thomas Reaves Adams, and her nephew Thomas Reaves Adams, Jr. A graveside service will be held at Mount Holly Cemetery on February 18, 2015 at 2 pm. Ashley, I had the pleasure of working with "Miss Jane" as I called her. She was a consummate professional!!! But if you could get her to laugh you saw an entirely different, delightful lady! Your Grandmother was one GRAND LADY! I have always felt fortunate that I knew her and called her my friend. I pray that your many memories can comfort you doing your time of grief.
