Biography: Ethel Bransford Miller Roescheise, age 83, of Little Rock passed away Friday, January 30, 2015. She was born March 12, 1931 in Little Rock, AR to the late Apsie Bransford Miller and Charles Miller. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Roescheise, her twin sister, Meredith Bransford Miller Lewis, and her brother-in-law, Bill Lewis. She is survived by her daughters, Mardi Grimes DeBerry and Meredith Miller McLeod, both of Little Rock. Ethel attended Little Rock High School, graduating in 1948. She then attended Randolph Macon Women?s College in Lynchburg, VA where she pledged Chi Omega. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1952. She was a member of the Junior League of Little Rock, Scattered Seeds Garden Club, Little Rock Country Club, Gay Blades Dance Group, Lunch Bunch, and the Bridge Club. Ethel had many wonderful friends and especially enjoyed her golfing buddies. She loved her condo on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs and was a great lover of animals. Memorials may be made to Central Arkansas Rescue Effort (CARE), P.O. Box 7604, Little Rock, AR 72217-7604, Little Rock Animal Village and Education Center, 4500 Kramer Street, Little Rock, AR 72204, Arkansas Children?s Hospital, #1 Children?s Way, Little Rock, AR 72202-3591, or a charity of choice. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 26th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home.

Mardi & Meredith,

I am so saddened to learn of Ethel's passing. She was indeed a great lady and mother that enjoyed a long and fruitful life being around people she loved. Both you girls made her proud. I have you in my thoughts and prayers and hope the best for you.

So sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person, who will be missed by all who knew her. I know her friendship meant the world to my mother, Nancy and now they are together again.

I will miss her enthusiasm and the fun I had waiting on her at CCLR. Her compassionate ways as I walked the blvd and how she joined me on occasion.

Ethel and her family were very close to our family when I was growing up. It is hard to believe they are all gone. Lots of memories...Ethel especially.
