I met Mrs. Fiske in the spring of 1981 and spent four hours cleaning debris in her bamboo bed and she paid me twenty dollars. For the next twenty years I maintained her yard which she dearly loved. My prices rose and so did our friendship. I would tell her often as she "helped", "Mrs. Fiske, you need to go inside. Your face is bright red." Her face would be crimson from working so hard. I always called her Mrs. Fiske because I was too young to call such a proper lady by her first name. Years later we both said, "I love you." And we did. And she loved her cousins and neighbors and friends. I always felt lucky for having met her. She was a rose.

Dear Anita, Janet, Jayne, and Vickie

Tim and I were sorry to read of Jackie's passing. Jackie was in her 80's the first time I met her at Anita's. I was struck not only by her
beauty but also her poise and grace. Sid loved Jackie as she loved all of you.
May the Peace of the Lord be with you all,
Tim & Tricia Atha

We are sorry to hear of Jackie's passing but grateful for her long robust life. We enjoyed getting to know her better after moving to Dallas 25 years ago. It was a pleasure for us to visit her a number of times during which she met our sons, Grandsons of her late husband John Fiske. She was a gracious and cheerful lady. We have lovely memories of her.
Our sympathies to your family.
Lucetta and Tom Katopody,
