I first met Carolyn and Dick when they came to live in Dumfries, Scotland 25 years ago. My family grew to love them and we spent many happy times together traveling around our area. They became ?our family?. Carolyn and Annette came over a couple of years ago to scatter Dick?s ashes and the years melted away.
What a Loss!
To never hear ?Oh Me? again in that sweet accent.
It was our privilege to have her in our lives.
God Bless

Ellen, Lissa, Matt, & family, I am so very sorry for all of you. I have such fond memories of your mom from Garfield Street days, and whenever I saw her, I was so very glad to see that she had not changed but had remained the warm, genuine, and loving person I remembered. She still looks like Donna Reed! Much love to all of you, and please know I'm thinking of you.

Ellen, Melissa & Matt, I am so sorry about your mother. I haven't seen any of you in so long but I know mom and your mom still went to lunch occasionally. The whole neighborhood from Garfield Street is dying out! My thoughts are with you and I know it is a terrible time of year to lose someone.

Ellen, Melissa and Matt: I am profoundly sorry for the loss of your mother. I not only knew her through my friendship with Ellen but through working with her in banking. Yes, she was indeed a living example of Christ, and I shall dearly miss her smiling face and generous, loving spirit.
