Biography: Margaret Allene Faulk McGaughy, age 71, of Little Rock passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. She was born April 6, 1943 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Arnold Faulk and Allene Cox Faulk. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard McGaughy. She was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Margaret loved to play tennis, was an avid reader and a member of St. Mark?s Episcopal Church. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Chap McGaughy; daughter, Karen McGaughy of Vicksburg, MS; sister, Martha Griggs of Mayflower, AR and a brother, Richard Faulk of Springdale, AR. A memorial service will be held at St. Marks? Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Mississippi St., Little Rock, AR on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Bellwood Cemetery in Pine Bluff at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society or Hospice Home Care. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

Margaret and I were lifelong friends and I will deeply miss her kind and caring compassion. My heartfelt sympathy and love go out to her family. May they draw strength in the knowledge of God's eternal care.
