I got to know Woody from working together at Feed Arkansas Kids on Wednesday nights. After a year or so he became my go-to person. He was so faithful to FAK and had a passion for feeding kids. I am blessed to have known him and called him my friend for many years. So glad that I will see him again one day. He will not be forgotten. My prayers go to his family.

We all love you so much Woody (a.k.a. "Dude"). It is not even NEAR the same here without you. I have tried to my best to help out your boys here in your chair that no one could ever fill and I hope I have made you somewhat proud. You have made such an impression on all the guys here - I know you know that but it is WAY bigger than is imaginable - the impact you have had on everyone at LRW. I will keep Glenda and your family in my prayers. You will never be forgotten.
I love you always,
Erin Marks (a.k.a. "Dudette")

I was absolutely devastated when I heard the news about Woody this morning. He was like a daddy to me growing up. He will always be known as "pa-paw's friend with the mechanical leg" by my girls. Love you Woody, you will forever a special place in my heart. Prayers for the family during this very difficult time.

I didn't know Woody very well but what I do know of him is that he was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. So at the end of the day he was a great man. He checked on my Grandmother after my aunt Marilyn passed and for that one act of kindness he will always have a place in my heart and I'm so grateful for all he did for my grandmother before she passed.I am so glad for the blessings he brought to my family. A great man has left us but I bet he will be watching over all of us on our journey through life. Thank you Woody for all the things you have done for my family and being there for us when we needed you. So sing and dance tell we meet again. So love and hugs to you Woody and all that knew you. We will always remember Woody with a big smile and kind words. How blessed everyone was that came in contact with him. We have wonderful memories and will never forget him. God needed another Angel and you answered his call.

Rest in peace Woody the streets of gold are brighter with you strolling down them.

May God give the family comfort for today and strength for tomorrow. We are praying for each of you

i was lucky enough to have woody as a step dad in my life. From the time I was 16 he always there to keep me out of trouble and keep the peace with my mom. As I grew up and matured he became a PawPaw to my kids Ryan and Lynsey. Ryan spent most summers as a child with PawPaw. After my mom passed away Woody surprised me coming to my nursing school graduation, came to Weiler family dinners and camping on the buffalo river after his accident. He also continued to be an awesome son in law to my grandmother watching over her and being the one to let me know when she needed me. He always cared about everyone.
Although as he began his new life and things happened we grew apart. But, I am choosing to remember the kind and caring man that shaped me. And the man who was always there when I needed him even after my mom passed. He was a family man to each family he was touched with. We were all lucky to have him. Now heaven is lucky to have him.
