Biography: Walls Trimble, age, 94, died on November 5, 2014. He was born in Lonoke, Arkansas on October 19, 1920. He grew up in Lonoke with his brother, Tom, and three sisters, Elsie Jane, Molly and Sue. Their parents were Thomas C. Trimble, III, an attorney who later served for many years as a United States Federal District Judge and Elsie Walls Trimble, a former school teacher. Walls graduated from the University of Arkansas and the U of A Law School in Fayetteville. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, Blue Key Honorary Society and Delta Theta Phi Law fraternity. His education was interrupted by WWII where he served in the infantry. After the war, he returned to Fayetteville to complete his education in 1947. A fifth generation lawyer, Walls began his practice in Little Rock in 1947 with the law firm of Bailey & Warren. He was recalled to military service during the Korean War, serving in the Judge Advocate General Corp in Japan. He and Eugene Bailey formed the firm of Bailey and Trimble in 1958. He continued to practice in that firm which became Bailey, Trimble, Lowe, Sellars & Thomas until his death. He was a member of the American Bar, Arkansas Bar and Pulaski County Bar Associations and a fellow in the Arkansas Bar Foundation. During his career he served as assistant attorney general and as a special judge in Chancery Courts on many occasions. His primary law practice was centered on Wills, Trusts and Probate. Walls was married in 1949 to Margaret Trimble of Fayetteville, Arkansas. They had one child, Spencer Trimble. Both Margaret and Spencer predeceased Walls. He is also predeceased by his sisters, United States District Judge Elsie Jane Trimble Roy and Molly Trimble Verser and his brother, Thomas C. Trimble. He is survived by his sister, Susan Measel of Birmingham, Alabamna and several nieces and nephews. Walls was a longtime member of Second Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon. A funeral service will be conducted by and at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St., Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial in the Trimble plot in Lonoke, Arkansas. Mr. Tremble was always so well spoken, wore a suit every time I saw him. He made me want to be a better man. I?m so fortunate to have had many deep and meaningful conversations with him. Such a Gentleman.

Walls was a fine attorney but, more importantly, one of the finest and most professional gentlemen I have ever known. My sincere condolences to his family.

My condolences to Walls family. He was an extremely articulate man always well dressed. I was friends with his sister, Judge Elsie Jane Roy. I ask her once if he slept in a suit and tie. They were a delightful family to know. Walls guidance, expertise and friendship will be missed.
