Janie and Family - You are in our prayers. John was such a stalwart friend and colleague during our student rebel days at the University back in the early 60's when we were going to change the world. And although our tours of duty in the Marines were separated by a few years, we shared the salty lore and many an "Old Corps" story. John was a Marine's Marine and a true gentleman. I know how proud you are of him. What a dear old friend he was to me. Sandy McMath

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope to encourage you to look to the Bible through this difficult time. Death is an enemy the Bible speaks of will soon be gone forever at Isaiah 25:8. During that time at Isaiah 33:24, "no resident will say: I am sick." These are scriptures that I look forward to seeing fulfilled in the future.

I knew Jane and John while living in El Dorado, Ark. in the late 60's and early 70's. While they had three boys, I had three girls. I moved around quite a bit in Texas, Louisiana and now live in North Carolina. I have been looking for Jane off and on for years. I am so very sorry to have found her in this manner. I send my sympathy to Jane and her son, also my many wonderful thoughts of her and prayers for all. What a wonderful friend Jane was to me in El Dorado. If I can do anything, please do contact me.
