Biography: Sylvia Treadway Finch passed peacefully into the arms of her heavenly father on Thursday, July 31, 2014 after a lengthy bout with Alzheimer?s disease. Born April 19, 1936, she was predeceased by her mother Dorothy B. Bilheimer Campbell. An accomplished beautician, she owned and operated the Fern Eaton School of Beauty and Barbering which was founded by her great grandmother. She dedicated her life at an early age to Christ and was a lifelong member of Pulaski Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband and best friend of twenty-eight years Dick Finch and daughters, Becki Finch, Julie Finch Fullerton, Lisa Finch Dearborn and Laura Finch Gregorie. Our family would like to thank Sylvia?s wonderful caregivers, Theresa Carter, Mary Jenkins and Monica Turner for their love, compassion and loyalty throughout the years and a special thank you to AR Hospice. Visitation will be held for friends and family from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 10201 Hwy. 5 N, Little Rock, AR. Memorials may be made to Pulaski Heights Baptist Church. Dick so sorry for your loss. Sylvia was a very precious lady and we had a good time playing when we were kids. We will keep you in our prayers. We can not come to the service due to sickness. You will be in our thoughts.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I know times like these are never easy. I hope the wonderful promise of seeing our loved ones again right here on earth, found at revelation 21:4, will bring you some comfort and joy now
