Dear Livingston family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. Barry was a good, kind man and always had a kind word and a good story to tell. I worked with him for many years at Commerce Bank. I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Barry. I worked with Barry at Commerce Bank in Kansas City for many years. He always had some interesting tidbit of information to tell you. We talked about animals and Irish Setters both he and I used to have. When I heard the news, I couldn't believe it. My prayers are with his family at this time of need. May God take care of you!

I am a neighbor just around the corner on Shamrock, and am very saddened by this tragedy. I visited with Mr. Livingston a couple of times when he came by with Mildred. You could tell those two were devoted to each other, and they will be missed. Hardly a day went by that I didn't see them walking. My sincere sympathy to the Livingston family.

BT, I am so saddened by your Dad's death. It is even harder to bear under the circumstances. It meant so much to us when you came home for Ben's service. You two were very special friends. Barry was my Banker Mentor when I started working for Worthen when I was 16. Super Guy and I learned so much. Barry is the reason why I started investing in stock and bonds. The passion he had for the Banking Industry was incredible. So many employee were laid off due to Corporate America but Barry would just tell everyone to hang in there and there were other Banks we could all work at. Prayers to his Family and Banking Family. Barry touched so many lives in such a positive way. He will be truly missed.

Worked with Barry for several years at Commerce Bank in Kansas City. Things that come to mind were his interest and love of trains, planes, college loyalty, his journeys home, family and pets. Always upbeat and ready to take care of his customers to the best of his knowledge. My prayers are with his family, neighbors and friends!

I too, had the pleasure of working with Barry while at Commerce Bank Capital Markets. He shared many stories of interest along with his zest and dedication to fitness. No doubt,Barry was in better shape than some guys at the office half his age. This was shocking news and has upset me to hear of his untimely death and the unfortunate circumstances. we continued to share emails of mutual interest. He will be missed. Barry had a great gift of gab and never met a stranger. I am finding it hard to believe that this has happened to such a fine person. I always found it incredible of his stamina for keeping fit and healthy, and for this to happen to him is beyond tragic. My heartfelt loss to his wife Kathi, whom he often mentioned almost daily. and his sons and grandchildren. I for one will certainly miss his insightful thoughts on our emails chains474 and retirement.

My Heartfelt Sympathy,

To the family of Mr. Livingston,

Like a lot of comments, I live on Shamrock and also enjoyed the daily walks of Mr. Livingston and his little dog. I visited with him many times, but most of all he flashed me the victory sign. He was more prompt than the mailman. Come rain, sleet or snow, he was there. Gog blessing and grace to the family.

My parents live on Shamrock...my two girls loved when Mr. Livingston and Millie would walk by. Mr. Livingston was so patient (as was Millie) and kind with my girls he never once hurried them or tried to cut the conversation short..he really seemed to enjoy my girls and their 1001 questions. We will miss seeing the two of them!

Very sad. I did not know him personally, but like a lot of people in the neighborhood, saw him frequently walking with his dog. Once he told me my headlight was out in my car, and from that point on we'd always chat a bit when he went by. I'm sorry to hear, I wish I'd talked with him more and I hope the person who did this is eventually caught. My thoughts are with his family.

I've known Barry for over 25 yrs and worked with Barry for 13 years at Commerce Bank in Kansas City and St Louis and prior to that when he was at Worthen. We shared the same vendors and had many conversations about the banking and capital markets business over the years. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Barry and listening to his many stories. He was a wealth of knowledge. He was a man of character and a dedicated family man. I'm so sad to hear of his passing. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his beautiful family.

We did not know Mr. Livingston, but we have lived in the neighborhood 35 years, retired and walk daily, and would see Mr. Livingston walking his little dog past our home or when we were out walking. We'd always get a wave when he saw us.
May God comfort the Livingston family.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss and our thoughts are with your family. Barry was a fixture in the neighborhood, always out walking, we saw him several times a day go by our house, usually with his little dog, out working in his yard or washing the his car. He will be missed by many. He was a nice man and a good neighbor.

Kathi, BT & Jeff

I worked with Barry @ Worthen Bank for many years, he taught me a lot about the banking world of Investments. He was always happy, never saw him down. He loved to talk about LaGrange and both of his boys and Kathi and her love of animals. Even after we both left Worthen, Barry would love to call me about receiving the latest updates from the software system both our banks used to make sure I was aware of changes. Barry Loved serving his customers. I would always ask "when are you going to retire" and he would laugh and say why? I love what I do!

BT & Jeff-a fathers love is forever, nothing can take it from you, for it lives in your heart and your memories and is part of all that you do.
May God bless and comfort you during this time.
