Biography: Ethel Mae Clark, loving mother, daughter, and grandmother, age 62 of Little Rock, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014. She was born March 15, 1952 in Fredonia, Kansas to Horace Darbe and Mary Fugate Darbe. She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Charles. Ethel was the owner of Sew Much More in North Little Rock and was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her mother, Mary Darbe of Independence, KS; her brother, Max Darbe of Toronto, KS; her daughter, Angela Peabody (Charlie) of North Little Rock, AR; her son, Samuel Clark of Dover, AR; grandchildren, Sarah and Jacob Clark of Mt. Ida, AR; and two step-grandchildren, Brandon and Michael Peabody of Forest City, AR. A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St., Little Rock with a visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery (Furlow Community) in Lonoke County. Online Guest Book: www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

Angela and Charlie, I am so sorry to hear about Ethel's passing. Ethel was such a delightful and good person. She will be missed by many of us. My prayers are with you and your family.

Ethel was a wonderful person, mother, friend, and a wiz with the needle and thread. I attended many of her classes and I always came away knowing so much more than I did when I got there. I will miss her so much.

I worked with Ethel many years at Maybelline. I was so saddened to read of her passing in today's paper. My prayers are with the entire family.

I was sorry to read about Ethel passing away. She was one of the few genuine friendly people that we worked with for many years at Maybelline. I want to extend my deepest sympathies to her family.
