Ms. Bonnie! I have so many fond memories of her and Gene. My dad, Paul Howerton, worked with Gene at Missouri-Pacific Bus Lines, then Continental Trailways. Many fond memories of Bonnie and Gene and my parents at fish fries at our house and eating over and Bonnie and Gene's on Beechwood and Briarwood.

Bonnie taught me to sew. We had such fun! And she made me learn to sew correctly--I probably ripped out several seams before I got it right. I can remember her going shopping with one of her nieces and Bonnie telling me she made paper patterns in the dressing room, then they bought material and she made new clothes. She was always so patient and so much fun! Always made me feel special!

Loved hearing her and Gene talk back and forth (Toots and Hon) Thanks for the memories!

Remembered by many as Toots. She lived a fruitful life. My Aunt Toots would say she was "pickled" but I think more like "picked" by God to make a mark on so many. May her legacy live on as she taught so many how to cook, sew, and laugh! She was a pioneer in the kitchen, a serious bargain shopper, and a mean card player. What a lady, she will always be remembered and never forgotten!

My Aunt Bonnie, what a Beautiful Lady. A seamstress no doubt. As a child she used to make all us children Pajamas for Christmas. My night gowns were always so special to me. When you stopped by her house she was always there to greet you with a smile, a meal, a homemade pie, a card game or two and a joke to make you laugh. You never left her house without her giving you something to take home. Usually something special she had made, a bargain she found or simply one of life's lessons she had learned. She was always there to touched your life in a very special way.

Full of Wisdom - Proverbs 31:25-27 She is clothed with strength and dignity; She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.

Beauty was found in everything she touched, simply because she was such a Beauty herself (Inside and Out),
She will be dearly missed and preciously remember by all.
Love ya, Sandy, Randy and Family
