Biography: Dorothy D. (Meisenbacher) Rinke, 89, of Bryant went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, May, 2, 2014. Dorothy was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter to the late Lee and Bessie Belle Meisenbacher. Dorothy was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Dorothy was an avid walker her entire life, walking as much as 5-10 miles per day up to her death. Dorothy was a member of Primrose United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, of almost 55 years, Benny Rinke, Sr., brothers Lee Meisenbacher, Jr, and John Meisenbacher and sisters Joanne Innis and Betty Lee Meisenbacher. Survivors include her son Benny Rinke Jr. (Donna) of Alexander; one grandchild: Sarah Rinke and step-grandchildren: Robert Skinner (Crystal) and Brenda Duggins (John) along with one step-great grandchild Jonathan Duggins, as well as a host of family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. in Pinecrest Memorial Park on Highway 5 officiated by Pastor Mike Morey. Memorials may be made in her honor in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer?s Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205. The family would like to express their appreciation to Southern Trace Rehabilitation and Care Center in Bryant and Arkansas Hospice for their loving care and support of her and her family.
