Biography: Dennis Ray Fureigh, age 53, of Little Rock, died November 30, 2006. He was born in Little Rock on June 8, 1953, to Ray and Betty (Clinton) Fureigh. A 1972 graduate of Hall High School, Dennis was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Immediately after graduation, he went to work in the furniture business as an independent factory representative for several companies. He was awarded Salesman of the Year too many times to mention and was recipient of numerous sales awards. In 1972, he met his soul mate, Janelle Colaianni, and they forged a 17-year friendship that culminated in their marriage in April, 1991. Dennis spent his spare time enjoying thoroughbred horseracing, NASCAR, reading various biographies, fishing, fine cigars, and, above all, spending time with his family. He was a loving father and husband, and was a courteous, charming, humorous, respectful man who will be missed by all who knew him. Dennis was preceded in death by his infant son, Conner Dean Fureigh. Survivors include his wife, Janelle (Colaianni) Fureigh, daughter, Joanna Elizabeth Fureigh, parents, Ray and Betty (Clinton) Fureigh, all of Little Rock; a very special cousin, Kathy Golden of Quitman; and a host of other relatives, friends, and associates. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2006, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, officiated by the Reverend Rocki Profitt and Reverend David Steele. Inurnment in the Church Columbarium will follow the services, with a reception following in the Parish Hall. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Mississippi, Little Rock, 72207; Trinity United Methodist Church, 1101 N. Mississippi, Little Rock, 72207; or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Cremation and service arrangements are by Ruebel Funeral Home of Little Rock, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

To The Fureigh Family: Joyce and I would like to express our Condolences for your loss of Dennis. I am sorry I did not get to meet him prior to his untimley demise. It was good to see Ray and Betty, Jim and Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Clinton during the time of your loss. Our Prayer is that He will both comfort and abide with you.

Janelle and Joanna,

I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you both at this time. I will always remember Dennis with a smile on his face talking about some home improvement job he was working on and me reminding him that "chalk is our friend"!

All my love,
Katrina

Janelle,

Over the years, people would see the last name and ask if I were related to Dennis. There sure were a lot of people that knew him.

Their question would always be followed by superlative comments. I wish I'd known him better.

Betty and Ray

Rick and Sharon Sellars sent me an email to tell me about Dennis' death and that the memorial was today! Walt and I are so sorry and want to offer our prayers during this very trying time.

Walt is out of town, and I called to tell him. He has talked so many times of all the fun and crazy times he had with Dennis and they are a big part of his growing up memories. He was a very special man and enlightened anyone who met him.

Our prayers are with you both!

Love, Cynthia and Walt

How very saddened I was to read of Dennis's passing. I will always remember him from high school as a funny, energetic guy who was impossible to dislike. My deepest sympathies, and I wish you warm and soothing memories of your lives together.
