Biography: On March 30, 2014, Wilson Harrell Foltz passed into heaven where he has found peace at last. For a number of years, he battled depression until it tragically overcame him. Wil was loved dearly by his family and will forever be remembered as a loving, high energy kid, who treated adults with respect and was gentle with smaller children. He was a lover of animals, especially his dog Biscuit. He was also a good athlete and a very bright young man who could figure out most anything that involved electronics. Wil was born in Washington, DC on August 20, 2000, but has lived in Little Rock from the 6th month of his life. He graduated from Forest Park Elementary School and was attending Christ the King middle school at the time of his death. Wil was a popular student at both Forest Park and Christ the King. He was a standout basketball player for Christ the King averaging over 10 points per game and nearly as many blocked shots. He also loved to duck hunt, snow ski, go to the lake, Ripstick, play neighborhood football, listen to music and be with friends. Wil loved his mother, father and fraternal twin brother, Davis, who was a constant companion, confidant and partner in crime. They threw the football, played tennis in the street, shot hoops and simply maintained a friendship that will last forever, into eternity. Wil is survived by his parents, Tiffani Davis Foltz and Thomas Price Foltz III, and his fraternal twin brother, Davis Albers Foltz all of Little Rock. His grandparents Mike and Rosemary Davis (Mt. Pleasant, TX), Susan Mayes (Little Rock) and Thomas P. Foltz, Jr. and Janie Foltz (Fort Smith). His aunts, Melanie Davis (Atlanta), Eleanor Foltz Day (Corpus Christi, TX), Jean Robinson (Oakton VA), Charlotte Kline (Chestnut Hill, MA) and Melissa Mayes (Woodstock, NY). His uncles, Trey Davis (Austin, TX), Dale Day (Corpus Christi, TX) and Grant Purdy (Ft. Smith). And, a very special cousin, Katie Day (Corpus Christie, TX). Wil was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hubert Mayes, Jr. (Little Rock). A memorial service will be held at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church in Little Rock at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2nd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wil?s name to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Youth at 4823 Woodlawn, Little Rock, AR 72205 or online at www.phumc.com or to UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute at 4301 West Markham Street, Little Rock, AR 72205. I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to you. I know the pain of a broken heart. Our Heavenly Father feels our pain. Psalms 34:18 assures us that He is near to those broken at heart. He does, however, hold out a promise that in the very near future He will wipe out all tears of sorrow and pain from our eyes and death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3-5) He also promises to remember all those in the memorial tombs (graves) and restore them to life. (John 5:28,29) Until those words are fulfilled, may you find much peace and comfort in God and in His promises found in the Holy Scriptures.

Tiffani and Tommy,
Being the aunt of David Johnson, I met you through him and have admired you and your family since. That grace you always have shown I hope is bringing you some little peace, but most of all the assurance that you and Davis will be with Wil again one day.

Tommy, Tiffani and Davis. My family and I are so sorry to hear of Davis' passing but his death is not in vain. I know we have and allot of other parents are discussing depression with our children and for that Wil should be commended. We are praying for you and your family during this trying time.

Please allow me to express my sincere sympathy to Wil's family even though I don't know you. I saw his obituary and he was such a handsome young man. I am glad you mentioned his depression because everyone needs to know it is nothing to be embarrassed about and should not be hidden. I am so sorry Wil lost his battle but hope you are comforted knowing he really did win at the end of his life. I will pray for your family.
From a friend in Christ

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Wil was in Ethan's class at school. Ethan and I attended Wil's beautiful service today and shared many funny memories of Wil on our car-ride home. Ethan particulary enjoyed hearing Wil's spanish paper and I quizzed him as to Wil's address and he did know it!

Oh, precious family my heart aches for you. I loved Wil so much. He was a sweetheart and so very smart. He listened so attentively to every story I told in 3rd grade. I will forever hold memories of him in my heart. He dearly loved his family and was so popular in our class. I feel so privileged to have taught such an outstanding young man. My prayers are with you all. I am praying them from a mother's heart and I know God hears me. I pray that you will feel His love and peace during these hard days. With love, Cheryl Riley, 3rd grade teacher.

While I did not know Wil personally, I will fondly remember our brief introduction last week in Taos and watching his tall lean body skiing down the mountain with Tommy and Davis - all smiles. He clearly loved his family and was clearly loved by all. I am so sad for this tragic loss of life but trust Wil's spirit is at peace. Much love to Tommy, Tiffany & family.
