Dennis was a good soul and a dear friend to many. He will be remembered for his dedication and love for those less fortunate than many of us. Know, too, he is still is having "too much fun" -- may Dennis' love for all live on in the hearts of each of us.

I first got to know Dennis during the early 1970's as a social work student at a group home for at-risk teens in Fayetteville, Indian Trail House. His dedication to these youngsters never failed, and he earned their trust and respect time after time. Our paths crossed a few times after that and I learned about his tireless work on behalf of the homeless in Little Rock. He truly was a living example of what social work was all about at its core, not just a degreee and a job. Dennis never failed to keep people, their well being and dignity, in the forefront of his efforts. You're remembered with affection, my friend, hope you're still having "too much fun" in your eternal rest.

Dennis was my friend and mentor for the past 11 years. I will always cherish this time. Throughout the Bible we are asked to help our Brothers and Sisters in need, and Dennis did this 24/7. My prayers for his family and our community in this great loss.

I lament that I never had the chance to meet Dennis, yet in many ways I feel I knew him. I could not be more grateful to the help he gave our patients from The BridgeWay hospital in North Little Rock. We called on him countless times, and he always responded and in an amazing way. I know he was kind, generous, and selfless. There are precious few like him. To his family, my heartfelt condolence. This is a tremendous loss for you, and for the greater Little Rock community.
