Pearce was a much loved friend and advisor to me and my late husband, Richard, in both the best and worst of times. And yes, he had a very wicked sense of humor.

Pearce was such a wonderful person. He took an interest in my career path as I was working at Outback Steakhouse, where he frequently stopped to have an appetizer on his way home after work. He helped me find my way and even took time out to show me the ropes of becoming an attorney. He certainly did not have to do that and it made a huge difference in my life. I appreciate Pearce so very much and have missed him dearly. Miss Mary and Jason, my condolences to you for the loss of a true treasure of a person.

I remember Pearce with love and affection and I miss his friendship and wonderful sense of humor. A supper club of which Pearce and I were members shared many wonderful evenings once a month for years and he was always the "star". He was the one to select the venue and the appetizer even though that was supposed to be a rotated responsibility and I laughed each month at how he maneuvered to get his choice each month. Somehow none of us were ever offended; that was Pearce. My condolences to Mary and Jason.

Pearce and I worked together at American General Life in Houston, TX roughly 40 years ago. We also lived in the same neighborhood in Humble, TX. Our families were close. My oldest daughter often baby sat Jason for Pearce and Mary. I have many fond memories of our friendship over the years.

I was fortunate to visit the Wilson family a few weeks ago. The loving care given to Pearce by hie primary caregivers, Mary and Jason, was beautiful to see. In each instant, when care was needed, it was given immediately and with a great degree of loving affection being shown.

I believe in "God things". I truly believe that my long friendship with Pearce, Mary and Jason is one of my "God things".

Pearce, old friend, you are greatly missed.

Pearce was amazing and brilliant. A charmer, raconteur, prankster, joke-teller, and a wonderful friend with a quick smile and an even quicker smirk, Pearce enriched our lives with his caring heart and oh-so-keen wit. We will miss you, Pearce, and you?ll always hold a very special place in our hearts. We send our love and thoughts to Mary and Jason.
