Biography: Laura Stewart Blackwell, 60, was released from her struggle with Alzheimer?s disease Saturday December 7th, 2013. Laura, or Lotus Blossom as she was known for her purity and beauty, was born July 31, 1953 in Huntsville, Arkansas to her cherished parents Joseph V. and Verlyn Stewart. She attended Central High School and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and was a proud Tiger and Razorback.
