Biography: Jacob Andrew Agar (Jake), 21, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on January 20th, 1992, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to parents, Jo Ellen Stover and Andy Agar. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Dr. Drew and Ruth Agar, and Gene Wallace. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his grandmother, Betty Wallace; parents, Jo Ellen (Bill) Stover and Andy (Lauren) Agar; brothers Drew and Jason Agar; sister, Lindsey (Kevin) Irwin; step-brother, Reed Stover; aunts, Sarah Wallace Hickman, Kristin Agar, Cynthia East, Stephanie Wallace; uncles, Bob East, Scott and Greg Wallace; cousins, Collins and Miles Hickman, Natalie (Lelon) Williams, Hannah and Sam Wallace; Cash (Bright) East, Lizzy East; and devoted girlfriend, Alex Sullivan. Additionally, he leaves a tremendous group of adored friends. Jake attended The Cathedral School, Catholic High School for Boys, and graduated Cum Laude from Episcopal Collegiate School in 2010, where he served as co-captain of the football team and was also named an All-State soccer player. He attended the Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas and was a member of the SAE men's fraternity that he whole heartedly embraced. He was honored to serve as rush co-chairman for the fall pledge class of 2012. Jake was an exceptional person, constantly in motion, with an infectious spirit and a genuine positive outlook on life. He was the consummate leader, protective big brother, and self-appointed social chairman amongst his friends. His energy level was unparalleled as he was a gifted athlete, a fierce competitor, fueled by a mind that was in constant motion planning his next adventure. Jake had a love of music that he shared with his mother and was a natural born, self-taught musician who spent hours playing his guitar. Jake loved his Grandmother?s lake house where he, his family, and friends spent countless hours swimming, boating, clinging to an inner tube, swinging in the hammock, and playing ping pong matches where losing was not an option. These are the memories that will never be forgotten. We will deeply miss Jake?s genuine heart, extraordinary sense of humor, and his mastery of the quick comeback. God blessed us with the gift of Jake, and we will all celebrate the day that we are reunited with him in heaven. A memorial service celebrating Jake's life will be held at Pulaski Heights Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas, on Tuesday, December 10th, 2013, at 11 a.m., with a reception to immediately follow at the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wolfe Street Foundation. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

I am so sorry for your loss . My daughter Rachel Swetnam attended U of A and knew your precious son and had many of the same friends . She was killed with her best friend trey Varner in a boating accident in May . I have no words to ease your pain . Just lean on your friends and family . Talk to people that have lost children . That helps me the most . I know our beautiful children are together in their new home in heaven . We will see them soon . Please call me if you ever just want to talk 731676-7519 . We will be connected because our children are . Love Janet Swetnam

To the Agar Family - You do not know me but I am pretty sure our boys knew each other in Fayetteville and shared a lot of mutual friends. My son, Trey Varner and his dear friend Rachel Swetnam were killed on May 14th of this year in a boating accident on Grand Lake in OK. Although their circumstances were different our loss of a child is the same. My heart breaks for you and what you have in front of you. Grief is not an easy road but one that must be traveled. I will pray for your family and his friends - you are all going to need each other to get through the next few days, weeks, months. Not a minute goes by that I don't miss my sweet Trey. There are no adequate words to express sympathy for such a great loss other than saying I am so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Jake
These last four days have been unbearable knowing we have lost our dear son to this horrible and insidious disease called addiction. Your death is not in vain. We will find ways to help others, including some of your friends that suffer from this miserable and unforgiving foe.

Dear Jake, inspite of my overwhelming pain and sadness, God is giving me some reprieve by letting me know you are with Him and He is taking care of you as no one else can. He has told me that you are resting and you are not hurting--even the least bit. You have no pain,no anxiety,no torment and that your new friends in Heaven love and adore you like we do here.

Jake we will never get over losing you but we will also never forget that you are in a better place and you will continue to share your kind spirit with everyone you meet in your your new home just like you did when you were with us.

Loving you only as a father can
Dad

I am so sorry to hear about Jake. He and Hannah were friends in school for many years. He was always very kind to her. He was a precious soul as well as the rest of his family. I am heartbroken for them as I know life will not be the same without him. I cannot imagine the pain and sadness his parents and step parents are going through. I know how much his brother Drew loved and cherished him. I also know how much my sister Lauren must be grieving and I want her to know I love her and am praying for her.
