My heart is very sad to hear of Mr. "H" Hamilton's homegoing. He was truly loved by those of us that had the pleasure of knowing and working with him. I shared this with him in his earthly life and now in life eternal, that he was there for minorty pharmacist's like no one else. Thank you for giving so many of us the opportunity to share the profession that you loved so much. You were an example of Christ in your daily life. You are and will be missed by all of us, especially me.

When I came to Little Rock Harold was already at Children's. I had the pleasure of working with Jane at UAMS. They both were good friends and fine people. My heartfelt condolences to his family - I know he will be missed, but they will have the memories of a kind and gentle man,

Harold and I met at the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy. Being alphabetical, we worked together in all the labs (there were lots of labs in those days). We became life-long friends. He was best man at my wedding and I at his. The home movies of his growing family still grace my shelves. I was eternally grateful when he agreed to come to UAMS and develop the outpatient pharmacy in our new 1950's hospital. Nobody ever had a better co-worker and friend.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Mr. Hamilton's
passing. I have such happy memories or working with
him at ACH. I worked with him as a student on my
rotation at ACH and again after I graduated. He
was encouraging and kind and a good teacher. He
also manifested a delightful sense of humor and
I remember his laughter fondly. He was dedicated to
the hospital and our patients and helpful to the
staff.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope
you will feel his love with you. I remember seeing
a quote recently that that no man ever truly dies if he has sons.
May you feel uplifted and comforted by God's
loving spirit, sustained by the love of your family and
friends and solaced by your joyful memories.

My sincere condolences on the death of this gentle and fearless man. He was the source of kindness and good counsel. Countless children today stand in his debt for the care he provided, both with his own hands and through those who staffed his Department of Pharmacy. He provided a model to all pharmacists of a career well conducted. His was a life well lived.
