Biography: Analee Jewell, 93, of Little Rock passed away October 9, 2013. She born in Patmos, Arkansas on July 12, 1920 to the late Henry and Ada Rider. Analee is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Jewell and John Walsh; her grandchildren Susanna Jewell Walsh and Patrick Jewell Walsh; her daughter-in-law Sarah Lavicka and many loving extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Robert Jewell, and her son, Frank Jewell. She graduated from the University of Arkansas and was a schoolteacher during World War II. A devoted homemaker, she was active in social, school and church organizations. She and her husband traveled throughout the world, and especially enjoyed visiting their children and grandchildren in Asia, Latin America and Europe. She also took great pleasure in the large family reunions that she helped organize. A memorial service for Analee will be Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Ruebel Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
