"Miss Jeffers" was my first grade teacher and a great lady. She attended the first grade reunion of the Tomberlin class of 1946 which was held several years ago, and everyone was thrilled to see her again. I am sorry for your loss, but she was a lovely lady and I'm certain has gone on to a heavenly reward.

I was saddened to read of Mrs. Bryant's death in todays paper. My Mother, Allie Milhoan, worked for Mr. Bryant, at the Ed. Dept., for years, and was very fond of both Mr.& Mrs. Bryant. I remember Mr. Bryant sending me a dozen roses when I graduated from college. I was thrilled and so touched by his kindness. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and that we share in your loss of a lovely lady. Sincerely,
Joetta Milhoan Duke and Family
