Joseph was a wonderful young man in my 2009-10 AP World History Class. He and I became good friends, and he always displayed a kind heart in our conversations. He is truly missed, and I'm saddened I will no longer hear his quirky jokes. He will be forever remembered for all my days. My thoughts & prayers to his family.

The last memory I have of Joseph is back in 2013, the day before I left to start my military career. We actually met up on accident and then decided to celebrate my going away. I never thought that day would've been the last hug I was able to give him. I was so devastated that I wasn't able to attend his funeral I felt like I should've been there for him. He was truly one of my best friends. He was always there when I needed advice and so was I for him. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. I love you Joseph and I miss you forever and always bud.

Pam & Samuel,
Joseph was a sweetheart. I was one of his sixth grade teachers and I well remember his kindnesses, his excellent manners, and his good character. Be strong in the knowledge that Joseph will always be thought of in a loving way. God bless you and your family.

Joseph was a ray of light in my classroom. My heart is broken for his family and friends. There are no words that can take away the pain, but know that there are many here to help you carry the burden. Jesus took Joseph's hand before we were ready, but I believe with all of my heart that he is in the presence of God right now.
