Biography: Julia Epperson Wilkins died peacefully at her Little Rock home Sunday, July 21, 2013 leaving many dear family and friends to celebrate her life. Born December 9, 1928 to Annie Archer and Thomas Hoyle Epperson, she was raised around England, Arkansas before beginning her adult life in Little Rock. She pursued her passion for medicine in administration, for family when she married her husband of 63 years, Charles E. Wilkins, and for church and community throughout her life. She is survived by her husband; 2 children, Kay (Tom) Carpenter and Alan (Dana) Wilkins; 2 grandsons, Matt and Mark Carpenter; 2 sisters, Geraldine (Kenneth) Bradshaw and Sunny Murray; 2 brothers, Ed (Shirley) Epperson and Tom (Susan) Epperson and a large loving extended family. Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Park followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood Road, Little Rock.
