Biography: Wendy Marie Rooney Beadle, age 50, of Little Rock, left this world Tuesday, July 2, 2013. She was born in Kenton, Ohio on Nov. 4, 1962 to Herbert and Lorraine Rooney. Wendy was a long-time member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church in Little Rock, where she attended grade school. She was also a graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Her greatest joy was being a mother and wife to her wonderful family. Wendy also enjoyed her time spent working for the state of Arkansas throughout the course of her career. Wendy loved being with family and friends, watching Razorback football and basketball, and playing with her Siamese cat, Tinkerbell. Wendy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Dan Beadle; her daughters, Elizabeth and Sarah; her sisters, Barb Quigley and Peggy James; her brothers, Doug Rooney and Tim Rooney; many loving nieces, nephews, and other extended family; as well as her countless friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Rooney, and her mother, Lorraine Rooney. A visitation will be held at Holy Souls Church at 6pm on Friday, July 5 to be followed by a rosary at 7pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Souls Saturday, July 6 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the Sisters Endowed Scholarship at Mount St. Mary Academy. www.ruebelfuneralhome.com

I too cannot imagine life without Wendy. She added so much to our family celebrations. I loved her conversation, her happiness, and her since of humor, and her celebration of life. What comforts me is Wendy's faith and that I know she is with our Lord. I thank God for the love she gave my brother and the life she gave my nieces.

My fondest memories of growing up is when Uncle Bud and Aunt Lorraine would bring all my cousins for a visit to South Dayton, Gowanda, or Chautauqua Lake.
That's how I remember all of you. A smile, love, and because we have Jesus in our lives we will be together again....Love, Tom

Wendy was a sometimes stern sister to keep me straight.
She and the other ladies on Holy Souls Social Concerns taught me compassion for others and to bring cookies to the Christmas meeting .
You couldn't put anything past this sweet and caring lady.
All of Holy Soulers will miss her.
RIP

I had the privelege of working with Wendy at OPM when she returned back to the work force. It was my honor to be a co-worker and I considered her a friend. My heart cries with you and I know that our God will wrap His loving arms around you and comfort you and give you the strength that will get you through this very difficult time. Wendy told me she had a personal relationship with Jesus so she is in Heaven now and those of us who are Christians will see her again. I will continue to remember each of you in my prayers. In Christian Love,

Wendy is very special to the Beadle family and an intergral part of everything Beadle. Its hard for me to get my mind around her not being there for the many family celebrations. The absence of her fun and caring ways willl leave a huge gap. I will miss her greatly Danny, Sarah, and Liz my thoughts and prayers are with you.

My heart goes out to the family. May comfort and peace be provided to all her family members. Wendy was always so full of life and was so proud of her daughters. Her energy and smile were always so amazing. I had the opportunity to work with Wendy in state government and was always grateful for her kind assistance and helpful nature. I also knew her through school and church. I am so sorry that such a kind soul and quality lady has been taken from the world so soon. RIP!
