Biography: Helen Marie York, age 96, of Little Rock, died on June 27, 2013. She was born in Keo, Arkansas on Christmas Eve in 1916 to the late George and Ola Ashley Mason. She was a homemaker and a member of the Barnett Memorial Baptist Church. She loved canning fruits and vegetables from her garden when she lived on Harris Break Lake with her husband Benny. Helen was preceded in death by her husband LL ?Benny? York, her daughter Donna York Temple, great grandson Cedar Wilkerson and her brother Howard Mason. She is survived by her son, Jerry York (Sandy) of Jonesboro, AR, grandson, Marty Martin (Teresa) of Little Rock, granddaughters, Susan Wilkerson and Alan Hefley of Muldrow, OK and Samantha Anderson of Malvern, AR; her son-in-law, Sam Temple; seven great grandchildren, Misty Hall, Nathan Warren, Andrew Wilkerson, Aaron Wilkerson, Elliot Wilkerson, Sam Brooks and Sarah Brooks; four Great-Great Grandchildren, Megan Hall, North Wilkerson, Silas Wilkerson, and Soren Wilkerson. Helen is also survived by her brother, George ?Sonny? Mason and a host of special nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Ruebel Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home with Burt Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
