Patsy and family,

We are so saddened to learn of Anne's passing but we know that you all fought a brave fight. Like her mama is, Anne too was a special lady and she will be greatly missed. God must surely have an important job for Anne to attend to in Heaven. We pray that your memories of all of the good times together bring you comfort in the days and months to come.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult of times. God's peace, hope and grace to each of you.

May it be of some comfort to remember that a person's life should never be judged merely by its number of days or minutes. Rather, it should be measured by what filled those moments. It's the quality of the life, not the quantity that ultimately makes the difference. In that respect Anne enjoyed the richness of many people twice her age.

I am sorry for your loss and pray for your comfort. I attended UALR Art Classes with Anne. I was thinking of Anne and her talent only a few days ago. Heartfelt condolences.

There are lots of people who have known Anne better than I have. There aren't many who met her at age two like I did. She was a darling little ball of energy and could run like the wind. One time when I was at the Fordyce home she took off from the kitchen and ran into the dining room table with her head. Her yelling could be heard blocks away. I know that there are dogs and cats in heaven and horses too. God Speed little blond equestrienne. RAW

My heart goes out to Anne's family (my family) and friends. She had a cruel disease, an unforgiving disease. It has robbed us before of irreplaceable loved ones. It requires courage and heart from its victims. In that, they transcend the force of its wrath, even if the cost is mortality. Those in the fight, and Anne is the latest, are heroes. They earn the peace they now enjoy.

Anne was a special friend that came back into our lives after a 20 years gap!... what a gift she was to all of the horse community that loved her so much. My trip with her in 2010 to The Breeders Cup in Louisville is something I will never forget. We laughed and smiled for 3 days!We were truly in Horse Heaven... We have been close friends ever since... I loved her and will miss her for the rest of my days... Karen Young
