Biography: Mrs. Bonnie Lee Christy, age, 100, of Yellville and formerly of Little Rock, passed away on June 2, 2013 at Creekside Health and Rehabilitation in Yellville, Arkansas. A daughter of the late Sidney and Mary Susan Greenhaw, she was born October 19, 1912, in Marshall, Arkansas. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend who found great enjoyment in doing for others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted R. Christy. She is survived by two nephews, Maurice Turney and his wife, Clarice of Talequah, OK and Kenneth Smyth and his wife, Dean of Marshall, AR. She is also survived by two nieces, Mrs. Glee Smyth of Tull, AR and Mrs. Samuel C. Smyth of Marshall, AR. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Little Rock. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Little Rock with Roy Dillard officiating. Judy and the Chaumonts loved Aunt Bonnie! She was always a bright spot.
We were talking about her earlier this week.
I'll bet she and Inez are having fun!
