I always admired your mother's down to earth attitude and her loyalty to Westover and her friends. She was a constant presence and a true pillar of the church. So sorry that a meeting kept me from attending today's service. You and your families were blessed to have her for so long, but I know it is still hard to lose her. I hope the love and support of your friends and happy memories of her life will be a comfort. I wanted to let you know I was thinking of you. Ellen

Aunt Jo was a true Southern matriarch who knew her own mind, had strong convictions, and loved good company. Her heart had ample room to embrace and love us all, and we were blessed to know her.

Dear Sally and Jo,
Your mother was one of my favorite people. What a lady she was! I loved her spirit and enthusiasm for life. She was my role model for what a Presbyterian Woman should be and do. She set the bar very high for us, and I always appreciated her words of encouragement and support as I have worked with Presbyterian Women at Westover Hills. She will be missed. Carl and I want you to know that you and your families are in our thoughts and prayers at this time as you celebrate the life of a special lady. Betty Glenn
