I'm going to miss visiting with Mary while smelling her gardenias on long summer evenings. She always made me laugh and was a very nice woman to me and all of "her girls." My heart goes out to her family. I will always have fond memories.

I was a friend of Mary's in high school...I always loved to be with her in classes. I always thought she was so beautiful. We reunited at a reunion a few years ago and that was wonderful.. I am so sorry for the loss for her family... Old friends are the best...and I consider her one of mine...

Dear Big Brother,
We were heartbroken to hear of your loss. We loved Mary dearly and enjoyed all of our visits both in PA and Little Rock. Mom loved her too, and we know they are having a wonderful reunion in Heaven. Mom thought Mary was the best thing since sliced bread. Chaney, we heard a lot of wonderful things about you, too. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are sorry we can't be there with you now, but as soon as we find out what's wrong with Clair's back, we will make the trip to Little Rock. Hugs to all.
