Mrs. Suitt. Fun, smart, no-nonsense, strong, talented and, did I say, fun. May light perpetual shine on her.

Diane, Cecil and Bill,
I still receive the Democrat-Gazette here in Jackson. I just read Peggy's wonderful obituary. She and James were true servants to the Dermott community. Len and I both sang in the choir for her and I worked with her in the Dermott schools. Peggy was a very smart and talented lady. I am so glad she was able to enjoy her last years and has now gone to her reward.

When the Suitt family moved to Dermott, the entire community experienced benefit. Mrs. Suitt, in particular, put confidence back into the public school system and was the backbone of her family.

Please accept our condolences. We know how much your mother and grandmother meant to all of you and what a great job Diane did of helping Dr. Claudia Tolleson "tinker" Mrs. Gilleland into and through the last ten years of her life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult period but deep down we know Peggy is happy now playing the piano for that great choir in the Sweet By and By.
